Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for optimization problems in cryptography and materials science
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers in quantum system integration
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Partner with government agencies to implement quantum-resistant security frameworks
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Week and Nature Quantum conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory and experimental physics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, Physical Review X)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Demonstrated expertise in quantum error correction and topological qubit systems
- Experience securing federal quantum computing grants (NSF, DARPA)
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and NISQ-era limitations
