Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop advanced quantum error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant computing
- Lead experimental validation of quantum systems using superconducting qubits
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum gate operations and coherence times
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, PRL)
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from NSF, DARPA, and industry partners
- Mentor PhD researchers and drive quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and gate-level optimization
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong publication record in quantum information science
