Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic, technological, and social trends to forecast industry shifts through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning models for market disruption and competitive positioning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product roadmaps
- Author strategic white papers on emerging technologies and their business implications
- Establish KPI frameworks for tracking future-readiness metrics
- Present findings to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Partner with R&D to prioritize 2026-era innovation pipelines
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, consulting, or futurist roles
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning
- Proven track record of developing long-term strategic frameworks
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Economics, or related field
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling abilities
- Experience with AI/ML trend forecasting tools preferred
- Published thought leadership in future-focused publications
