Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and market trends through 2026
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks for long-term planning
- Produce trend reports and scenario analyses for executive leadership
- Facilitate workshops to align cross-functional teams on future possibilities
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight into innovation pipelines
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic indicators affecting strategic direction
- Advose on risk mitigation strategies for disruptive future scenarios
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, futurism, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business strategy
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systems thinking
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Economics, or related field
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend-tracking platforms
- Exceptional communication skills for complex concept articulation
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from futurists.org) preferred
- Experience with AI, biotech, or climate tech trend analysis
