Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 technology and societal trend foresight framework
- Produce actionable scenario-planning documents for executive decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align departments on future opportunities
- Identify emerging threats and opportunities in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Present strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors quarterly
- Manage relationships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Author thought leadership publications on future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future trend analysis implementation
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and backcasting techniques
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling abilities
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) or equivalent experience
