Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for organizational resilience
- Partner with product teams to embed future-ready principles into innovation pipelines
- Deliver executive briefings and thought leadership on emerging market opportunities
- Establish cross-functional working groups to translate foresight into actionable initiatives
- Author annual '2026 Horizon Report' for board and stakeholder alignment
- Represent company at global futurism forums and industry summits
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism roles
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology trends
- Experience with scenario planning tools and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional presentation skills with C-suite executives
- Deep understanding of geopolitical and socio-economic trend intersections
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFMP, CFP) preferred
