Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-tech capabilities into core offerings
- Present technology forecasts to executive stakeholders and investor forums
- Establish cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and design teams
- Author thought leadership publications on technological disruption timelines
- Manage vendor relationships in cutting-edge tech ecosystems
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Proven track record of forecasting tech adoption cycles (2018-2025 validation required)
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or synthetic biology
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to articulate complex concepts
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in IEEE, Nature, or equivalent tier publications
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
