Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trajectories to identify 2026-relevant opportunities in AI, biotech, and quantum systems
- Lead cross-disciplinary sprints to prototype solutions for 2026's most pressing challenges
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning emerging technologies with market readiness timelines
- Partner with venture capital teams to evaluate and incubate pre-2026 breakthrough innovations
- Present futuristic frameworks to C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Establish industry thought leadership through whitepapers and keynote presentations
- Mentor junior futurists in trend analysis and scenario planning methodologies
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record of forecasting tech adoption cycles with 85%+ accuracy
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, neurotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Futures Research, or related field
- Certification in Horizon Scanning or Technology Foresight methodologies
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on 3-5 year tech roadmaps
- Publishing record in peer-reviewed tech journals or industry reports
