Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 industry projections
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, Web4.0) for strategic integration
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to board of directors and investors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Build and mentor an elite innovation team of futurist specialists
- Author thought leadership publications on technology trajectory forecasting
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership roles
- Proven track record of launching transformative tech initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Exceptional analytical modeling and scenario planning abilities
- Experience securing $10M+ innovation budgets
- Published author or keynote speaker at major tech conferences
- Portfolio demonstrating technology commercialization success
