Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology strategy aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and implementing emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, bio-digital interfaces)
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and tech pioneers
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-7 year adoption windows
- Present technology roadmaps and innovation frameworks to executive stakeholders
- Drive R&D investments in future-focused initiatives with high ROI potential
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal innovation capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least 3 future-tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, nanotech)
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/PhD preferred)
- Exceptional strategic thinking and systems analysis abilities
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Published research or patents in emerging technology fields
