Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in emerging markets
- Produce annual '2026 Technology Impact Reports' for C-suite stakeholders
- Prototype experimental systems using cutting-edge development frameworks
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Mentor junior researchers in future-focused methodologies
- Present strategic briefings to industry consortiums and government bodies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or emerging tech development
- Proven track record of forecasting market trends (2020-2025 validated examples required)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Expertise in at least two of: generative AI, neuromorphic computing, or synthetic biology
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong Python/JavaScript prototyping skills with cloud deployment knowledge
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
