- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology foresight strategy targeting 2026 market readiness
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and implementing cutting-edge solutions (AI, quantum computing, biotech integration)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academia, startups, and research institutions for technology scouting
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging threats and opportunities in global tech landscapes
- Present compelling technology roadmaps to stakeholders and investors with measurable ROI projections
- Drive organizational culture of innovation through workshops, hackathons, and knowledge-sharing initiatives
- Oversee R&D budget allocation for future-focused projects with 5+ year horizons
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism; PhD preferred
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with proven impact on future-oriented initiatives
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, Web3, and synthetic biology
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or peer-reviewed research
- Experience leading cross-continental innovation teams and managing $10M+ R&D budgets
- Certification in Technology Foresight (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent practical expertise
- Portfolio demonstrating successful implementation of 5+ future-tech initiatives
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
