Responsibilities
- Develop and implement technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology convergence
- Analyze emerging tech trends to identify billion-dollar opportunities
- Partner with Fortune 500 companies to design next-generation digital ecosystems
- Secure $5M+ annual innovation grants and venture partnerships
- Mentor a team of 10+ specialist researchers and engineers
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and board members
- Author thought leadership publications in top-tier tech journals
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- 10+ years in emerging tech R&D with 5+ years in strategic planning
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough technologies to market
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum algorithms, or neurotech
- Published research in Nature, Science, or equivalent peer-reviewed journals
- Experience securing federal innovation grants (DARPA, NSF, etc.)
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and regulatory frameworks
