Responsibilities
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum AI, neural interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists, data scientists, and bioengineers
- Identify and evaluate disruptive technologies with $1B+ market potential
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Author white papers on 2026 technology trends for industry publications
- Secure government grants and private funding for moonshot projects
- Advise on ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and biotech applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Bioengineering (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in technology R&D with 2+ years in futures planning
- Published research in Nature, Science, or IEEE journals
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI development
- Track record of securing $10M+ in research funding
- Proficiency in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Experience with ethical AI frameworks and biotech governance
- Public speaking experience at major tech conferences (Web Summit, TED, etc.)
