Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for AI/quantum/bio-convergence applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen interfaces and experiences
- Anticipate societal impacts of emerging tech through trend analysis and scenario planning
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budgets for experimental projects
- Present findings to C-suite and board members with data-driven narratives
- Partner with academic institutions to identify breakthrough research opportunities
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends (showcase portfolio)
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: AI/ML, quantum, or synthetic biology
- Executive presence with experience presenting to Fortune 500 boards
- MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism preferred
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature journals
- Fluency in Python, R, or similar for trend modeling
