Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological disruptions across AI, quantum, biotech, and sustainable tech sectors
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating emerging technologies with commercial applications
- Conduct competitive analysis and market positioning studies for future tech ecosystems
- Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership and investment committees
- Partner with product teams to prototype next-gen solutions targeting 2026 market readiness
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and research labs
- Author thought leadership content on technology futures and innovation strategies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management with Fortune 500 experience
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Proven track record of translating technological trends into commercial opportunities
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or futurism preferred
