Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 Technology Vision Roadmap aligning with global market trends
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints for next-gen AI and quantum computing applications
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies pre-2026 adoption
- Present strategic briefings to board members and external stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ R&D budget for 2026-adjacent technology incubation
- Mentor internal talent on emerging tech paradigms and future-proofing strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with proven impact on future-focused initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neurotech, or decentralized systems
- Published thought leadership on 2026+ technology trajectories (e.g., MIT Tech Review, WIRED)
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $3M with measurable ROI
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Strong network within DARPA, IEEE, or similar innovation ecosystems
- Portfolio demonstrating at least three successfully commercialized future-tech projects
