Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging sectors including quantum computing and sustainable AI
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with Fortune 500 partners to prototype 2026-ready solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies through patent analysis and academic partnerships
- Present strategic foresight briefings to C-suite executives and government innovation boards
- Manage a $2M innovation budget for experimental tech incubation projects
- Mentor junior researchers in future-focused methodologies and ethical tech frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Future Studies with 8+ years tech strategy experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (portfolio required)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, bio-integrated tech, or climate-positive AI
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals (IEEE, Nature Technology)
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain DOE-level clearance
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic for international collaboration
- Advanced certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF)
