Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps for quantum computing, synthetic biology, and AI governance
- Partner with R&D to prototype breakthrough innovations with 18-month commercialization targets
- Present strategic forecasts to investors and board members quarterly
- Curate annual 'Future Horizons' symposium featuring industry pioneers
- Lead ethics committees for autonomous systems and neurotech applications
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants through strategic policy advocacy
- Mentor next-gen futurists through Horizon's incubation program
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with proven 2020s paradigm impact
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent
- Published white papers on at least two emerging tech verticals
- Expertise in scenario planning using Delphi and Horizon Scanning methodologies
- Track record of commercializing speculative technologies
- Proficiency in predictive analytics tools (e.g., Palantir, Tableau)
- PhD or equivalent in exponential technologies preferred
