Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging tech domains (quantum AI, neural interfaces, climate tech)
- Lead cross-disciplinary innovation sprints with Nobel-level researchers
- Identify and secure patentable IP in next-gen human-computer interfaces
- Present future-vision frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Partner with venture capital arms to spin off disruptive subsidiaries
- Author industry-defining whitepapers on 2026 tech convergence trends
- Mentor a team of futurist researchers and prototype engineers
Qualifications
- PhD in Strategic Foresight, Systems Engineering, or equivalent domain expertise
- 10+ years in tech strategy with portfolio of launched future-facing products
- Published thought leadership in Nature, MIT Tech Review, or equivalent
- Proven track record of securing >$50M in R&D funding
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, neurotech, or climate AI
- Proficiency in strategic scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into investor narratives
