Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical AI governance frameworks for 2026 product launches
- Lead cross-functional audits of machine learning models for bias mitigation
- Develop compliance strategies for evolving federal AI regulations (e.g., proposed Algorithmic Accountability Act)
- Establish stakeholder engagement protocols for transparent AI decision-making
- Create ethical risk assessment protocols for generative AI systems
- Represent company at industry ethics panels and regulatory consultations
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Policy, or related field
- 5+ years experience in AI governance or responsible tech implementation
- Deep understanding of EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and IEEE Ethically Aligned Design
- Proficiency in bias detection tools (Aequitas, IBM Fairness 360)
- Experience with regulatory compliance in regulated industries (healthcare/finance)
- Exceptional written communication for policy documents and stakeholder briefings
- Published work on AI ethics or technology policy preferred
