Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics policies and governance frameworks
- Conduct risk assessments for AI deployments across product lines
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees with engineering, legal, and product teams
- Partner with regulators to shape emerging AI governance standards
- Design bias detection and mitigation protocols for machine learning models
- Create transparency reports for AI decision-making systems
- Train stakeholders on responsible AI practices and ethical implications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Philosophy, Law, or related field
- 5+ years in AI governance, ethics, or responsible AI roles
- Deep expertise in EU AI Act, NIST AI Risk Framework, and OECD principles
- Experience with bias auditing tools (e.g., IBM AI Fairness 360)
- Strong background in machine learning and neural network architectures
- Certification in AI ethics (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design)
- Published research on algorithmic fairness or explainable AI
- Experience testifying before regulatory bodies on AI policy
