Responsibilities
- Design and implement auditable AI governance frameworks for autonomous decision systems
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees with engineers, policymakers, and social scientists
- Develop bias mitigation protocols for neural networks processing sensitive human data
- Partner with UN bodies to establish global AI accountability standards
- Conduct real-time ethical audits of generative AI systems in production
- Train 100+ engineers on responsible AI development lifecycle (RAIL)
- Author white papers on AI transparency for IEEE and Nature journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years applied AI ethics experience
- Expertise in EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and OECD AI Principles frameworks
- Proven track record designing governance for LLMs or autonomous systems
- Published research on algorithmic bias mitigation or explainable AI
- Experience working with regulatory bodies (FTC, ECHA, or equivalent)
- Advanced proficiency in Python for ethics auditing tool development
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex ethics to technical teams
