Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical governance frameworks for AI development lifecycle
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments for machine learning models
- Develop policy recommendations for regulatory compliance and industry standards
- Lead stakeholder workshops to align technical teams with ethical principles
- Author white papers on emerging AI ethics challenges and mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with legal teams on intellectual property and data sovereignty issues
- Mentor junior researchers in responsible AI methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Philosophy, Law, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI ethics, compliance, or governance roles
- Expertise in EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and OECD AI principles
- Proficiency with bias detection tools (e.g., IBM Fairness 360, Google What-If Tool)
- Strong background in policy analysis and regulatory frameworks
- Experience with interdisciplinary collaboration between technical and non-technical teams
- Published work in AI ethics or responsible technology (peer-reviewed or industry)
