Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics policies compliant with evolving global regulations (EU AI Act, US AI Bill of Rights)
- Conduct bias audits and impact assessments for AI systems using advanced fairness metrics
- Design governance frameworks for generative AI and autonomous decision-making systems
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed ethical considerations into product lifecycles
- Monitor emerging AI regulatory landscapes and provide strategic compliance guidance
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement ethical AI safeguards in production systems
- Author transparency reports and explainability documentation for high-stakes AI applications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Computer Science, Law, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 3+ years in AI governance, responsible AI, or technology ethics roles
- Expertise in bias mitigation techniques and fairness metrics (AIF360, IBM Fairness 360)
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations and ethical frameworks
- Experience conducting algorithmic impact assessments for deployed systems
- Strong communication skills for translating technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in Python for ethical AI tool implementation and auditing
- Published work in AI ethics or participation in standardization bodies (IEEE, OECD)
