Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical governance frameworks for autonomous decision systems
- Lead cross-functional audits of AI models for bias mitigation and fairness
- Develop corporate AI ethics policies aligned with emerging global regulations
- Collaborate with product teams to embed ethical considerations throughout the development lifecycle
- Represent Nexus at international AI ethics summits and regulatory working groups
- Establish KPIs for ethical AI performance and continuous improvement
- Mentor engineers on responsible AI development practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Philosophy, or related field with focus on AI ethics
- 8+ years experience in AI/ML development with demonstrated ethical impact
- Published research on algorithmic bias or explainable AI
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Experience with large-scale LLM deployment and fine-tuning
- Strong background in applied ethics and moral philosophy
- Proven ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Certification in AI ethics governance (e.g., IBM AI Ethics certification)
