Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems and generative models
- Lead bias audits and fairness assessments across high-impact AI deployments
- Develop industry standards for explainable AI (XAI) and algorithmic transparency
- Conduct interdisciplinary research on AI alignment and value learning
- Advocate for ethical AI adoption through white papers and policy recommendations
- Mentor cross-functional teams on responsible AI implementation
- Partner with legal and compliance teams to navigate emerging AI regulations
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, or related field with 5+ years AI research experience
- Expertise in fairness metrics, adversarial debiasing, and interpretability techniques
- Published work in top-tier venues (NeurIPS, ICML, ACM FAccT) on AI ethics
- Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and causal inference frameworks
- Demonstrated experience with AI policy development or regulatory compliance
- Strong background in moral philosophy and ethical theory
- Ability to translate complex ethical concepts into engineering requirements
