Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical frameworks for AI development lifecycle, including bias detection, transparency protocols, and accountability measures
- Conduct risk assessments and ethical audits of AI systems, identifying potential societal impacts and proposing mitigation strategies
- Partner with product and engineering teams to integrate ethical considerations into design specifications and technical implementations
- Stay ahead of emerging AI regulations and standards, ensuring compliance and proactive adaptation to evolving legal landscapes
- Create educational materials and training programs to foster ethical AI practices across the organization
- Represent the company in industry forums, contributing to the global discourse on responsible AI development
- Lead investigations into AI incidents, providing transparent reporting and remediation plans
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, Law, or related field with demonstrated focus on AI ethics
- Minimum 5 years of experience in AI governance, responsible AI, or technology ethics roles
- Deep understanding of machine learning systems, including training data implications and algorithmic bias
- Expertise in emerging AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST RMF, etc.) and ethical frameworks
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills for evaluating complex ethical dilemmas
- Proven ability to translate technical concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating practical implementation of AI ethics solutions
- Certification in AI ethics or related field preferred (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design)
