Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics frameworks aligned with evolving global regulations (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments for high-stake AI deployments
- Lead cross-functional working groups on algorithmic transparency and explainability
- Advocate for ethical AI design in product roadmaps and engineering sprints
- Monitor emerging AI risks (deepfakes, autonomous weapons, cognitive manipulation)
- Partner with legal and policy teams to shape responsible AI legislation
- Drive corporate AI ethics certification processes
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Philosophy, Computer Science, Ethics, or related field
- 5+ years in AI governance, ethics, or responsible tech implementation
- Expertise in bias detection techniques and fairness metrics (AIF360, IBM Fairness 360)
- Deep knowledge of global AI regulatory landscapes
- Experience with ML system documentation (model cards, datasheets)
- Strong stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams
- Published research or thought leadership in AI ethics (preferred)
