Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for AI adoption across healthcare, logistics, and energy sectors
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives on neural-symbolic AI and AGI safety frameworks
- Partner with quantum computing teams to design hybrid AI-quantum algorithms
- Produce thought leadership reports for Fortune 500 boards and UN technology councils
- Oversee implementation of ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Mentor emerging AI ethicists and futurists through Horizon Labs' incubator program
- Identify emerging tech paradigms (e.g., neuromorphic computing, bio-integrated AI) for portfolio development
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or Futuristics with 8+ years applied AI experience
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, AI Journal) on human-AI collaboration
- Deep expertise in transformer architectures, reinforcement learning, and explainable AI
- Proven track record advising C-suite executives on technology disruption strategies
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and futures methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Experience with regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI Risk Management Framework)
- Strong network within IEEE, Partnership on AI, or similar global AI governance bodies
