Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel AI algorithms for 2026-era applications (quantum-resistant ML, neuromorphic computing)
- Lead cross-functional research projects spanning NLP, computer vision, and reinforcement learning
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals/conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, Nature)
- Develop ethical AI frameworks aligned with 2026 global regulatory standards
- Mentor junior researchers and foster innovation through weekly hackathons
- Secure $500K+ in annual research grants from NSF and industry partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 5+ years in advanced ML/NLP/CV with 3+ publications at NeurIPS/ICML
- Expertise in PyTorch/TensorFlow, distributed computing, and MLOps
- Proven track record of translating research into production AI systems
- Experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq) preferred
