Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our innovative team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within the United States, with a strong preference for candidates based in Milwaukee, WI. In this role, you will play a critical part in transforming raw data into actionable business insights that drive strategic decisions.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain complex databases and data warehouses.
- Create compelling visualizations and interactive dashboards to present findings to non-technical audiences.
- Perform deep-dive analyses to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in large datasets.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all reporting platforms.
- Optimize data pipelines to improve query performance and reporting efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and process large sets of raw data to ensure high-quality inputs.
- Develop and implement statistical models and forecasting techniques to predict market trends.
- Generate regular performance reports and executive summaries for leadership.
- Maintain and update documentation for data processes and methodologies.
- Partner with engineering and product teams to support data infrastructure improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating databases.
- Expertise in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and experience with at least one visualization tool (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently in a remote environment.
