Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and validate large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analysis to identify trends, correlations, and patterns that drive business strategy.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and develop interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Report Generation: Create comprehensive reports and presentations for management, summarizing findings and recommending actionable solutions.
- SQL & Database Management: Write optimized SQL queries to extract data from relational databases and assist in maintaining data warehouse structures.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with IT and operations teams to identify inefficiencies and recommend data-driven process improvements.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a subject matter expert, translating technical data analysis into clear insights for business stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-4+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a remote or hybrid work environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle) and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
- Excel: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and Macros.
- Programming: Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python or R is a plus.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data to diverse audiences.
- Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently in a remote setting with strong time management and organizational skills.
