Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the long-term vision for the AI research department, aligning technical goals with business objectives for the upcoming decade.
- Model Architecture: Design and deploy advanced Generative AI models, including LLMs and diffusion models, focusing on scalability, accuracy, and ethical alignment.
- R&D Oversight: Lead a team of senior data scientists and engineers in exploring novel AI architectures and novel reinforcement learning techniques.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product and engineering teams to integrate AI solutions seamlessly into consumer-facing platforms.
- Performance Optimization: Oversee the optimization of inference pipelines and training clusters to ensure real-time responsiveness.
- Ethical AI Governance: Establish frameworks for AI safety, bias mitigation, and compliance with emerging regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in AI/ML, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior architecture role.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow. Proven experience with transformer architectures and fine-tuning large-scale models.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to tackle complex, ambiguous problems and derive actionable insights from massive datasets.
- Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
