In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for our clients, resolving technical issues, troubleshooting hardware and software, and delivering exceptional customer service from the comfort of your home office.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 Technical Support: Assist clients via phone, email, and chat to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Remote Troubleshooting: Guide users through complex technical problems using remote desktop tools and clear verbal instructions.
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain a professional, empathetic, and positive demeanor while managing client expectations and ensuring satisfaction.
- Documentation: Accurately document all support interactions, resolutions, and tickets within the CRM system.
- Equipment Management: Ensure provided remote equipment is maintained, used correctly, and reported for repairs if necessary.
- Follow-Up: Conduct follow-up calls with clients to ensure the resolution was successful and the client is satisfied with the service.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in IT or related field is a plus.
- Experience: No prior IT experience required; we provide full training.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of computers, operating systems (Windows/Mac), and internet connectivity.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong focus on clarity and patience.
- Environment: Must have a dedicated home workspace with a high-speed internet connection and a quiet environment.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by business needs.
