- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive information and patient records.
- Meet daily and weekly productivity targets without compromising quality.
- Research and verify proper terminology, names, and locations as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in transcription, preferably in medical, legal, or academic settings.
- Exceptional listening skills and the ability to understand various accents and dialects.
- Fast and accurate typing speed (minimum 50-60 WPM).
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet home office environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and transcription-specific tools (e.g., Express Scribe).
