Responsibilities
- Monitor real-time chat platforms (Discord, Twitch, Slack, etc.) for policy violations and inappropriate content
- Apply moderation guidelines consistently to remove harmful messages, spam, and harassment
- Escalate complex issues to senior moderators and legal teams when necessary
- Document moderation actions and provide weekly trend analysis reports
- Collaborate with community managers to improve user experience and engagement
- Maintain accurate records of moderation actions in internal systems
- Participate in training sessions on emerging threats and platform updates
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in content moderation, community management, or customer support
- Exceptional written communication skills with impeccable attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm under pressure during high-volume chat sessions
- Familiarity with moderation tools (e.g., Discord, Mee6, Nightbot) and content filters
- Strong understanding of digital safety protocols and community guidelines
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and quiet home office environment
- Availability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends as needed
- Proven ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
