Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe legal, medical, and corporate audio recordings
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA compliance
- Edit and proofread transcripts for grammar, punctuation, and consistency
- Manage multiple projects with strict deadlines using our workflow system
- Research and resolve unclear terminology through digital resources
- Collaborate with quality assurance team for continuous improvement
- Maintain 98.5% accuracy rate across all deliverables
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- 90+ WPM typing speed with 99% accuracy
- Advanced knowledge of English grammar and punctuation
- Familiarity with legal/medical terminology preferred
- Proficiency in ExpressScribe, Dragon, or equivalent software
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet workspace
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
