- Research and clarify technical terms for accuracy
- Perform quality checks and edit transcripts before delivery
- Communicate with team leads for clarification on complex recordings
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional transcription experience
- Proven typing speed of 75+ WPM with 98% accuracy
- Exceptional command of English grammar and punctuation
- Proficient with digital transcription software (e.g., Express Scribe)
- Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information with discretion
- Strong time management and deadline adherence
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
- Post-secondary education or equivalent certification preferred
