Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio recordings into written text with high accuracy and speed.
- Proofread and edit transcriptions for grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors.
- Adhere to specific formatting guidelines and style sheets provided by clients.
- Manage file uploads and downloads securely using our proprietary software.
- Meet daily and weekly production targets without compromising quality.
- Communicate effectively with the quality assurance team to resolve unclear audio segments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in transcription or a strong aptitude for language and typing.
- 40+ words per minute typing speed with high accuracy.
- Excellent command of the English language, including grammar and syntax.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.
