Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech integration)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and finance teams
- Develop patent strategies for next-gen intellectual property portfolios
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring technology adoption readiness
- Present future-tech scenarios to executive stakeholders and investors
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Proven track record of launching future-facing products (2018-2024)
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, AGI ethics, neurotech, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature Futures journal
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle, Deloitte Tech Trends)
- Experience scaling innovation labs from concept to commercialization
- Global network connections with DARPA, CERN, or similar institutions
