Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market evolution and societal shifts
- Identify and evaluate disruptive technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, AGI)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and design teams
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies through internal hackathons and prototyping
- Analyze global tech policy implications and regulatory landscapes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Published research in AI, biotech, or quantum systems (peer-reviewed)
- Experience scaling technologies from lab to market ($100M+ products)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (blockchain, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Proven ability to secure government grants or venture funding for experimental projects
