Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping emerging tech solutions (quantum, AR/VR, neuromorphic computing)
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for 2026 tech landscape
- Secure strategic partnerships with quantum computing startups and AI research labs
- Mentor junior futurists while maintaining technical expertise in exponential technologies
- Present quarterly tech strategy briefings to the Board of Directors
- Drive sustainability initiatives in tech deployment (carbon-neutral data centers)
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in exponential tech (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of launching $50M+ tech initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Certification in Quantum Computing (IBM/Qiskit) or AI Ethics (DeepMind)
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Gartner Magic Quadrant, Deloitte Tech Trends)
- Portfolio of published tech forecasts (minimum 3 white papers)
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python/Java preferred)
