Responsibilities
- Architect and implement cloud-native microservices using AWS/GCP and Kubernetes
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization achieving 95%+ deployment automation
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical design reviews
- Contribute to open-source projects with 10+ quarterly contributions
- Drive security-first DevOps practices including IaC with Terraform
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Present quarterly tech talks to cross-functional stakeholders
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in distributed systems and cloud architecture
- Expert proficiency in Go, Python, or Java with strong CS fundamentals
- Proven track record with Kubernetes, Docker, and service mesh technologies
- Certification in AWS/Azure/GCP (or equivalent hands-on experience)
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues
- Demonstrable leadership through open-source contributions or tech talks
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ production-grade deployments
