Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech integration
- Analyze emerging tech trends (Web4.0, neural interfaces, sustainable tech) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping futuristic solutions with 18-24 month horizons
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present tech strategy insights to investors and board members with data-driven frameworks
- Drive R&D budget allocation for 2026 technology incubation projects
- Mentor junior futurists in strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, product innovation, or emerging tech R&D
- Proven track record of launching products with 3+ year market horizons
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum algorithms, or synthetic biology
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystems and research institutions
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Forecasting preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published research on 2025+ tech trends
