Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmap Development: Lead the creation and execution of the company’s long-term technological vision, specifically focusing on innovations relevant to 2026 and the future.
- Emerging Tech Scouting: Identify and evaluate cutting-edge technologies (e.g., advanced AI, quantum computing, AR/VR) and determine their applicability to our business model.
- Innovation Management: Oversee R&D initiatives, manage innovation labs, and foster a culture of experimentation and forward-thinking.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present complex technological strategies to executive leadership and cross-functional teams in a clear, compelling, and non-technical manner.
- Competitive Analysis: Monitor global tech trends and competitor movements to anticipate market shifts and regulatory changes.
- Resource Allocation: Partner with engineering and product teams to allocate resources toward high-impact future projects.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in technology strategy, product management, or a related technical field with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Visionary Thinking: Demonstrated ability to think 5-10 years ahead of current market trends and translate abstract concepts into actionable business strategies.
- Technical Fluency: Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies (AI, Cloud, Blockchain) without requiring hands-on coding, though technical proficiency is a plus.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading diverse teams and driving change within large organizations.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and persuade.
