Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology vision roadmap aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AI ethics, biotech integration, quantum applications)
- Identify emerging technologies through patent analysis, academic partnerships, and startup scouting
- Present strategic proposals to C-suite executives and external stakeholders with compelling data narratives
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Establish industry thought leadership via whitepapers, conferences, and media engagements
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D management, or futurism roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record in launching commercialized innovations (patents or products preferred)
- Expertise in emerging tech domains: AI governance, quantum computing, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD/MSc preferred)
- Certified Futurist (CFP) or similar strategic foresight credential
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with proficiency in Tableau/Python
- Experience with government tech initiatives (e.g., CHIPS Act, NSF grants)
