Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects in quantum computing, AI governance, or climate tech
- Design and implement scalable prototypes with 10x efficiency improvements
- Publish peer-reviewed papers and secure federal/state innovation grants
- Mentor junior scientists and collaborate with MIT/Stanford research partners
- Translate theoretical concepts into commercializable IP portfolios
- Present findings at global forums like Web Summit and CES
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI Ethics, or Sustainable Energy Systems
- 3+ years in applied research with published breakthrough papers
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow, or quantum programming languages
- Track record of securing $500K+ in research grants
- Deep understanding of emerging tech regulatory landscapes
- Portfolio demonstrating scalable tech implementations
- Experience with agile R&D methodologies and MLOps
