Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation strategy aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and validate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech)
- Analyze global tech ecosystems to identify disruptive opportunities and competitive threats
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven insights
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Manage a $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of experimental learning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech specialization
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations (portfolio required)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, biotech convergence, or AI governance
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., horizon scanning, scenario planning)
- Experience scaling teams in high-growth tech environments
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., PDMA, CMI) preferred
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
