Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps for emerging sectors including AI ethics, quantum applications, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and venture capital partners
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with billion-dollar market potential
- Design strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 companies and academic institutions
- Present technology forecasts and innovation frameworks to executive leadership and investors
- Manage a $5M+ annual innovation budget with measurable ROI targets
- Champion sustainable technology initiatives aligned with UN SDGs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching at least 2 breakthrough technologies
- Deep expertise in at least 3 emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, blockchain, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex systems
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech and venture capital communities
- Published research or patents in future technologies
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., from Institute for the Future)
